The Challenge
This health food chain had expanded rapidly to 12 locations across the Austin metro area. Each location had been set up independently, resulting in inconsistent business names, varying categories, and no unified brand strategy across Google Business Profiles.
Customers were landing on incorrect profiles, finding outdated hours, and sometimes being directed to the wrong location entirely. Google's algorithm penalised the inconsistency with suppressed rankings — even though several locations had excellent review scores.
Our Methodology
Month 1
Multi-Location GBP Audit
Audited all 12 profiles simultaneously. Identified 89 NAP inconsistencies across 240+ directory listings. Found 4 duplicate profiles causing ranking suppression. Created a unified brand playbook covering naming convention, category strategy, and attribute standards.
Month 2
Systemic NAP Cleanup & Deduplication
Resolved all 4 duplicate listings, standardised business names across all directories, and corrected NAP data on 89 citations. Submitted updates to 50+ high-authority directories including Yelp, Apple Maps, Bing Places, and Foursquare.
Month 3–4
Per-Location Keyword & Content Strategy
Developed individual keyword strategies for each location based on local search demand. Published location-specific GBP posts targeting hyper-local terms. Geo-tagged all product and store photos with location metadata.
Month 5–6
Review Velocity & Response Management
Deployed the Review Velocity System across all 12 locations simultaneously. Generated 280+ new reviews. Implemented consistent professional response templates maintaining brand voice while personalising each reply.
